Let me tell you about my weekend!  I spent the last three days thrifting in my van.  Driving around Oregon and Washington to estate and garage sales, I found tons of stuff to resell.  I’ve been collecting vintage hats, old pocket knives, and even watches that need batteries, for cheap.  In this YouTube video, my buddy and I sort though a bunch of old music CDs and original Sony Playstation video games.  I found 16 albums to keep for travel, gave two away, threw away some, and have 96 more audio discs to trade or sell!  What an unbelievable garage sale haul vid huh?  Please share this video, and SUBSCRIBE to Survival Bros on youtube.com/survivalbros  Enjoy the show.

Cameron McKirdy produced a new #EDC or Everyday Carry video update!  Check out the latest gear Survival Bros uses to stay safe, and be prepared for emergency situations.  Many products have multiple uses.  For example, you could use the headphone wires as cordage to keep something together.  HD video filmed with the new GoPro Hero7 Black camera.  It’s just OK.  The lens fogged up from the body heat coming off of my hand.  I thought this video was ruined, but I’m happy with the post.  Making YouTube videos is tough, but rewarding.

Hey Friends,

Cam coming at ya from Oregon. I’ve been busy traveling, and living that #vanlife I will continue to update this blog with articles, videos, and photos. Big changes are coming! Honestly, I’ve been spending most of my time redesigning the Survival Bros YouTube Channel. You have to start watching some of The Playlists. They are getting really interesting, as I’m pulling content from other personalities, and merging them with my original Productions. Here’s my latest videos:

So have you been working on your emergency preparedness kits, and stockpiling food in your pantry just in case of disaster? As we have seen lately in the news, an Earthquake, Tsunami, and even riots can happen at any moment! You really need to have supplies nearby, and develop an escape plan.

In other news, I just dyed my hair bright purple! It looks amazing. I’m gonna hit the pool in a few minutes, because my skin is brightly colored as well. I did the job in a rush, and didn’t apply petroleum jelly around my hairline. So I look pretty silly right now, and you might say that for awhile. Still, it feels good to stand out from the crowd.

You can reach Cam at thesurvivalbros@gmail.com  %^D.  More soon.  Keep checking back.  Thanks.

Cameron McKirdy Presents:

This week Survival Bros found two Pre-1965 silver dimes in a coinstar machine!  Unbelievable.  Real money; still in circulation.  We’ve also collected foreign coins, a necklace pendant, and more from the return chute recently.  It’s wild to think that people don’t check for rejected coins in the change converter.  I find money in the slot about 33% of the time.  Shoppers walk right by, without thinking.  I guess they would rather spend money, than make it with no effort.  Subscribe on YouTube for more free tips and tricks.  Happy hunting!!!

Cameron McKirdy created his biggest #EDC video yet!  Watch and see all the essential items to save up, to eat and drink later during survival situations.  These kits were organized by durable quart size resealable plastic bags, put in everyday carry backpacks, and the van too.  #vanlife

My van blows a head gasket on a classic Chevy G20 Gladiator after a hose breaks, and the temperature gauge fails to work.  Watch the newly release dramatic video footage now!  Smoke is never a good thing, unless it’s weed.

Next Up: Hustling on The Streets!  Watch a clip of items I tried to sell to a buyer from Facebook.  She was interested in a glass bottle, but I ended up getting $35 from her for half of this junk.  I had a blast going to 200 garage sales this summer to bargain hunt, and haggle with strangers.

US Forest Service Photo of Terwilliger Fire

By Cameron McKirdy

Welcome to #Survival #Bros. Unfortunately, I have sad news to share with you about Oregon’s latest forest fires. Visit this blog daily for updates on this PNW emergency. Here’s what you need to know:

Cougar Hot Spring is closed for the rest of 2018. It may not open to the public for a year or two. A careless man started the fire there near the trail. 20 people or so escaped the flames. Noboby was hurt then, but later in the week a firefighter was struck by a car while crossing the road in the town of Rainbow, OR.

Here’s #news clips from sources including KEZI in Eugene:

Latest #BREAKING #NEWS –

Personal Note: As many readers may know, I lived in these woods. Over the course of four months I managed Cougar Crossing Campground, and worked at Terwilliger Hot Spring. It was paradise. I soaked in the pools alone at sunrise for weeks. Naked. Coffee. It was my home. And now the forest won’t ever be the same. I wish I was there when the fire started. I would have thrown myself on it. I’m grieving. Much of earth is experiencing environmental traumas. Please pray for Our Land, and the people sacrificing to protect her.

Respect FIRE! 🔥

I have an empty seat in my van. Maybe you can help me fill the position. Think you have what it takes to #survive vanlife? Here’s a few of my requirements for the role of superstar gypsy. Comment if there should be other tasks.

1. Must keep it (van) oiled. However, I may need sunscreen applied to my body as well to protect from harmful UV radiation.

2. Have to be on lookout for nude sunbathing locations. Obviously.

3. Should be generous…ready to give what you can to people and animals in need. We will be hugging trees too here in Oregon.

4. Light Navigation. Don’t disract me. Know your right from left?

5. Needs to be able to spot garage sales on weekends. I get first dibs on manly stuff.

Bonus if you’re athletic, have a driver’s license, and smell wonderful most of the time. Inexperience not required, but preferred. This adds to sense of adventure I think, as we try new things.

To apply to become a traveller, email me about yourself with a picture. In all honesty, I would like to meet a healthy girl to love on. I live a fun and wild life, and I’d like to share the journey with a nugget. Hit on me, or just send a nice note of platonic encouragement. thesurvivalbros@gmail.com

This past summer I was hindered from hiking and exercising due to a broken toe. It hurt to put weight on my right foot for months! The injury was a major bummer. It through off my body alignment, and took time and energy to heal. In this video you’ll see Survival Bros pour Instant Hand Sanitizer on the open wound. We had just cut it open, and drained the fluid. The female passenger was ruthless squeezing out the puss…Drip, drip, chunk. Luckily a new friend camping at a site near us donated some weed to the cause. I puffed Blueberry Cookies, and toughed the medical procedure out. My toe tingles just thinking about this odd experience. Remind me not to pitch my tent on rocks again. I slept on my belly, and kicked the ground as hard as possible. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
